Chris has 18 years of experience working in the private sector security industry. His work has included directorial oversight and leadership, as well as program development and innovation, in diverse settings across a wide spectrum of cultures and environments. Alongside this work, he has spent over 20 years serving as staff and clergy in congregations. He has a deep passion for connecting with people in ways that can inspire change and challenge the mindset of what is means to create both safe and inclusive communities.
Chris is a Certified Master Instructor in SIRA (Suspicion Indicators Recognition and Assessment) through Rozin Security Consulting. He is also a Special Deputy with Hennepin County Sheriff's Office, with focused work on public/private partnership and information-sharing, specializing in faith-based communities and networks. He has developed, trained, and executed security operations plans for high-level events with local, national, and global visibility, as well as events and gatherings for many different faith traditions.
